Original data provided in the Lancaster County Historic Resources Inventory database was determined by a professional architectural historian based on a field survey of 14 Lancaster County boroughs in 2011. It is intended to be representative of conditions at the time of survey; however, this information is dynamic and will change over time. Users of the database are therefore fully responsible for determining the accuracy, completeness, currency and/or suitability of the information. This data is provided as a service to municipalities and the public to provide a basis for education, historic preservation and heritage tourism. While the survey is intended to be comprehensive in the municipalities surveyed, omission from this data does not preclude a building from being historic.

While Lancaster County has no indication or reason to believe that there are any inaccuracies or defects in information incorporated in this work, the County makes NO REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE, NOR ARE ANY SUCH WARRANTIES TO BE IMPLIED OR INFERRED, WITH RESPECT TO THE INFORMATION OR DATA FURNISHED HEREIN. The County does not assume any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or usefulness of this information.

The Lancaster County Historic Resources Inventory was supported by a Preserve America grant administered by the National Park Service, Department of Interior in conjunction with the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners. Ongoing support and maintenance is provided by the Lancaster County Planning Department and the Lancaster County Information and Technology Department.
